Director’s Message
Dear Visitors,
As the Caucasus Studies Application and Research Center of Iğdır University, we continue our academic work on the Caucasus region with great dedication. We adopt an interdisciplinary approach in order to deeply understand the historical, cultural, political, and economic structure of the region and contribute to the academic knowledge in this field.
The Caucasus is a region of strategic importance globally, with its rich ethnic and cultural diversity. Therefore, we support efforts to enhance understanding of the region by developing collaborations both regionally and internationally. Our goal is to promote the production of sustainable knowledge about the region by scientifically examining the social, cultural, and economic dynamics of the Caucasus.
Our center provides an important source of knowledge and a collaboration platform for academics, researchers, and students. Through the symposiums, conferences, workshops, and publications we organize, we aim to increase scientific activities related to the region and enhance its recognition on the international stage.
